AFP Chapter Spotlight Program
The AFP Chapter Spotlight Program recognizes the outstanding achievements of AFP chapters, showcasing creative projects, activities, and initiatives that benefit local fundraising communities.
Spotlights provide a platform for chapters to share their successes, learn from one another, and inspire excellence in the fundraising profession.
Why Participate in the Chapter Spotlight Program?
By participating in the Chapter Spotlight Program, you have the opportunity to:

Submit a Spotlight
Chapters will complete a submission form sharing details about a specific initiative, project, or achievement. This includes answering specific questions and providing supporting materials such as documents, photos, and videos.
Categories of Submission Include:
- National Philanthropy Day
- Mentoring Program
- Education/Event/Professional Development Program
- IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) Initiative

How You'll Be Featured
Submissions will be carefully reviewed by our team, and outstanding entries will be selected to be featured as a chapter spotlight.
This includes an article profiling the chapter, included in the Chapter Spotlight Gallery, showcasing the chapter's achievements for the entire AFP community to see. Spotlight articles will also include a downloadable Share & Reapply handout, which fellow chapters can use to implement a similar program based on your success.
Chapter spotlights will be shared on the AFP website, social media, newsletters, and AFP Connect to maximize your chapter's visibility and the fundraising community's ability to learn from one another through this exchange of best practices.
