About the speaker
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Jonathan Weedman has served as senior vice president for the Wells Fargo Foundation since September 1996. He is responsible for managing the charitable contributions of the company’s largest market, which includes an annual budget in excess of $25 million dollars for Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, in addition to the State of Arizona. Under his management, Wells Fargo has grown to become the largest corporate donor to charities in these regions.
Weedman began his career with Wells Fargo in 1989 as a business banking officer at the Los Angeles Main office, where he was responsible for the development and management of new and existing business banking client account relationships. Later, he joined the Premier Banking Division, where he developed business for numerous non-profit organizations in the Southern California market – at the height of his banking career, his portfolio included management of more than 500 local non-profit charitable institutions.
Weedman attended the University of Southern California and the University of California at Los Angeles, where he was awarded his bachelor’s degree in History in 1983. He currently serves as Commissioner for the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs Commission, and serves on the board of the California Heritage Museum, the Getty House Foundation and the Los Angeles Philharmonic and The Colburn School. Weedman also has served on the boards of Project Angel Food in Los Angeles as vice chairman, the West Angeles Community Development Corporation and the American Heart Association.
Weedman is the recipient of numerous awards for his community service from organizations such as the American Heart Association, Gay and Lesbian Elder Housing, Shakespeare Festival LA, Para Los Niños, AIDS Service Center, Aid for AIDS, Project New Hope, Bilingual Foundation of the Arts and Operation Hope. He along with his partner, are Chairs of the Los Angeles Philharmonic 2012 Hollywood Bowl Opening to raise funds for music education.

About the speaker
Laura joins her passion marketing and creating with her extensive knowledge in fundraising, public relations and marketing principles and concepts to an existing and substantial knowledge of the various social media platforms.
Laura works with clients to refine their personal brand, build their social media presence, and capitalize on the ever-evolving opportunities of the digital era. With the inundation of online communities like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn Pinterest and Instagram, Laura’s familiarity helps busy executives flow into the demands of social and online communities with a streamlined and highly strategized approach.
Prior to launching ATD Solutions, she served as Assistant Director of Stewardship and Donor Relations in the Office of College Advancement at Pitzer College where she applied her extensive knowledge of fundraising and employed a strong organizational structure to the program she built from the ground up using a best practices and sustainable strategy approach. Laura also spent four years in the development office at Scripps College in Claremont and has an established background in planning and producing special events and trade conferences.
Laura is a Pitzer College alumna. She earned her B.A. in Political Studies and is currently an MA candidate at Claremont Graduate University, Arts Management Program with a Non-Profit Management concentration.
She is a past member of board of AFP-GLAC and is an affiliate member of the Let’s Get Social Network, the largest known social media management network, a member of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, (CASE) District VII, and member of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs, Association of Donor Relations Professionals and the Donor Relations Network.
