Map Your Plan of Attack: Create an Operating Plan to Reach Your Goals
Don’t miss this month's breakfast meeting, as you will leave armed with the tools and tactics you need to create the optimal Development Operating Plan to reach your goals and keep you sane in the insane day-to-day world of the development department.
When someone in your organization has an idea for a fundraising event or campaign, do you begin assembling a committee and go into event mode? As year-end approaches, do you automatically send out an appeal letter? Do you get so caught up in daily office tasks that you don’t spend enough time on planning your development strategy? Have you created an Operating plan for your development department?
Many non-profits, big and small, function without creating or adopting a fundraising plan. At some point in time, we have all experienced event mode mania and have sent out countless of year-end appeal letters. No matter how long you’ve been in fundraising, you know this is not the best way to run a development program. Join us for our monthly breakfast meeting on Thursday, February 14th for an engaging, roundtable discussion to help you create your development plan of attack.
Bring your questions, sample materials to share with the group, and strategies that have or haven't worked for you. We can help one another walk away with an array of tools and tips to begin creating or revising a comprehensive, written fundraising plan allowing you to focus your efforts, plan your yearly fundraising calendar and providing you with the guidance and strategy you need when you’re in the thick of events, mailings and daily office tasks.
