Ms. Melissa E. Wohlstein, MPA, the Associate Vice President for Advancement for Georgia Southern University Foundation, will be our education speaker at this meeting and will present:
"Fundraising and Technology: Bridging the Gap"
Technology is constantly changing and, as fundraising professionals, it is imperative that we keep pace with those changes. How can you bring technology to prospects, donors, volunteers and meetings? Ms. Wohlstein will present simple tools to make you a more effective fundraiser.
11:30 a.m. - Registration and Networking
Noon - 1:00 p.m. - Lunch, Membership Meeting and Presentation
Cost: $12 members, $25 non-members

Cancellation Policy: If you register and are unable to attend, you may send a guest in your place. Cancellations after February 8th and no-shows will be billed for their lunch.
Melissa E. Wohlstein, MPA serves as the Associate Vice President for Advancement for Georgia Southern University Foundation. The Associate Vice President of Advancement is a member of the senior leadership team that provides strategic direction and management of Georgia Southern’s comprehensive fundraising program.
As AVP Melissa oversees the major gift staff in each of the colleges: Allen E. Paulson College of Engineering and Information Technology, College of Business Administration, College of Education, College of Health and Human Sciences, College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, College of Science and Mathematics, and the Jiann Ping Hus College of Public Health. The AVP works closely with each of deans in each college to ensure that the Major Gift Officer meets the development needs of college.
Melissa was recently hired from the University of Florida after serving as the Senior Director of Development of the College of Health and Human Performances. The University of Florida just completed a comprehensive Capital Campaign of 1.5 billion dollars of which Melissa doubled the college’s campaign goal securing 14 million dollars. Melissa has over 16 years of fund raising experience of which 11 years is in higher education. Melissa began her higher education career at the University of Central Florida Foundation. She has earned a Bachelor of Science from The University of Alabama, and a Masters in Public Administration from UCF .
