Philip Haney

We’re all waiting to find out more about the legislative decisions on taxation for the future, and Mr. Phil Haney, local attorney and instructor of philanthropy at TU, will help us to understand how the new tax laws will actually encourage donations. He will address fundraising issues offering challenges and solutions involving who gives, who doesn’t, their motivation to continue as well as a glimpse of the future of the field of nonprofit work. Bring a notepad; you won’t want to miss a word of his presentation on:
- New 2013 (and, in some cases, 2012) taxes and how they affect philanthropy
- Recognition and use of current technology for effective fundraising
