Planned giving can be mystifying and intimidating, even to those who work at it full-time. For a more general development professional, these factors make planned giving inaccessible, especially when there are other job responsibilities. It doesn't have to be that way. Thsi presentation will provide insight into how to do planned giving and grow a manageable program when you have other responsibilities.
After this session, participants will be able to:
1) Identify the main chairacteristics of a planned giving prospect
2) Understand the most important planned giving devices and how to use them
3) How to manage a planned giving program amidst competing priorities
4) What to do when special situations develop that are beyond your skill level
**Only individuals enrolled in the AFP Mentor Program may participate in this program.**
