Paula will discuss how to decide whether or not your organization is ready for a special event, and how to determine the type of event to establish. Volunteers often want to establish a grand annual event, but you're not sure you're organization is ready. You worry you'll do a lot of work with little financial return. How do you build your case either for or against?
Learning objectives: The participants will be able to: 1) Do cost estimates and determine what your net should be and 2) Establish sponsorship goals and what's needed to reach them.
