Submit Your Nomination for AFP's National Philanthropy Day Honors!
Nominations are being accepted for AFP's National Philanthropy Day Honors! Anyone can submit a nomination within six categories: Philanthropist, Volunteer Fundraiser, Corporation, Foundation, and Youth. Nominations must take the form of a short "selfie" video—a person talking to the camera about the impact the nominee has made, no longer than two to three minutes. Nominations are due by March 15, and can be submitted here online at the AFP website. You can find an FAQ here with more information about the program and how to submit nominations.

Postal Rates Set to Drop
The United States Postal Service (USPS) has released adjusted rates, highlighted by a decrease from 49 cents to 47 cents for first-class mail stamps, to kick in once a temporary exigent surcharge on postage runs out. (The NonProfit Times)
Blackbaud's Charitable Giving Report Reveals Emerging Digital Trends as Online Giving Outperformed Traditional Giving in 2015

A New AFP Website Experience Is Coming in 2016!
It's all-systems-go for the long-awaited revitalization of the AFP website. The AFP Strategic Communications team has posted a new landing page at afpnet.org announcing the launch of an anticipated 12-month (phase one) project. This landing page also carries a call for volunteers to sit in advisory capacities on review committees for content, online communities, web policy, technology and user experience. To keep AFP audiences informed of project progress, the page features a timeline mapping out benchmarks. Members and friends can also opt-in to project updates that will be delivered monthly to their inboxes.
