Make sure that you bring your badge and accompanying tickets with you. You may pick up your badge holder, final print program if requested, and conference tote bag at the "Bag & Badge Holder Pickup" counter on Level 1 of Moscone West. DRESS CODE
Dress is casual for the meetings and sessions. Please bring a sweater or light jacket, as meeting rooms at Moscone West can be cool.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY
Moscone West provides 2 options:

  • Use the white house phones located on each level of Moscone West. You can report an emergency to Moscone Security Control by picking up a white house phone and dialing 511.
  • Use a pull station located adjacent to each emergency stairway.

EDUCATION


EDUCATION SESSIONS
All presentations are open to all conference participants, with the exception of the pre-conference workshops, which require additional registration. We have made every attempt to provide adequate seating for participants at the International Fundraising Conference. For your safety and due to fire regulations, only those with seats will be allowed to stay in meeting rooms.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All meeting rooms will be cleared between presentations.
  • All seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Reserving spaces in line or saving seats is not permitted.
  • Please move into the middle of a row to maximize the available seating
  • In compliance with fire codes, sitting on the floor or standing is not permitted.
  • As a courtesy to the speakers and your colleagues, please silence your cell phone during all presentations.
  • In the event that a session room is filled to capacity, please do not bring outside chairs into the room. We have plenty of other education sessions that you may enjoy at that time instead!
  • In consideration of both speakers and listeners, please wait until the breaks if you find you need to leave or switch rooms.

THE AFP AFTER-DARK PARTY—50 SUMMERS OF LOVE

Are you ready to get groovy? This year’s AFP After-Dark Party will recognize the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love (1967) in San Francisco. Entrance to the event is free, included with your 2017 International Fundraising Conference registration.

Pack your best 1960s attire—we're talking peace signs and bell-bottoms—for our costume contest, and be ready to sing your favorite '60s tune! Yes, that means karaoke, and a cash bar too. The event is a short walk away (0.3 miles) from Moscone West.

AFP BAY AREA CHAPTER EVENTS:

A NIGHT AT LINKEDIN
Prior registration (now sold out!) is required for the AFP Bay Area Chapters Event, A Night at Linkedin. The event will be held Sunday, April 30, from 6:00 - 9:00 PM at 222 Second Street, a 2 block (0.4 mile) walk from Moscone West. Prior registration (now sold out!) is also required for Dine Around San Francisco, which will be held Monday, May 1, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. AFP will once again offer a Super Early Bird rate for next year's International Fundraising Conference! The event will be held April 15-17, 2018, in New Orleans, LA.
