Senate Passes Tax Reform Bill Without Universal Charitable Deduction



Despite intense lobbying from the nonprofit sector, the universal charitable deduction was not included in the final Senate tax reform bill, which could lead to drops in charitable giving of $20 billion or more every year.

#GivingTuesday Reaches Record Giving Levels
People in more than 150 countries participated in #GivingTuesday this year. In the U.S., $274 million was raised from over two million donations, while in Canada, more than 6,000 charities and business participated.

Facebook Dumps Fees, Adds $50M For Nonprofits
