AFP Conference Education Committee Reviews Record Number of Proposals

AFP's Conference Education Advisory Committee has reviewed a record 559 proposals to present at the 2018 International Fundraising Conference and made tough decisions about which sessions will be offered next year in New Orleans.


It's Summer! Try a Porch Party to Open Doors and Cultivate Prospects



Pulling donors or new prospects together socially is a wonderful strategy for fundraising. Porch parties are easy to pull off. They "feel" attractive to donors because they are casual and informal.


Deadline Aug. 11 for Diversity, Leadership Awards!

The Charles R. Stephens Award for Excellence in Diversity is a chapter award which spotlights outstanding diversity and inclusion programs, while the Barbara Marion Award for Outstanding Leadership to AFP recognizes individual AFP members who have contributed their time, talent and treasure to AFP on the local, regional, national and international levels. Deadline for nominations for both awards is this Friday, August 11!

AFP Leader William Madison "Bill" Moran Passes Away
William Madison "Bill" Moran, ACFRE, a long-time AFP member and leader who served as chair of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy, died at home peacefully in his sleep, surrounded by family, on July 28, 2017. He was 69 years old. Read more.
