Member Query: Telemarketing Calls
From AFP's Open Forum: "I'm hoping someone can describe their experience using telemarketing calls to gain new monthly donor sign-ups. We've identified about 8800 monthly giving prospects in our database and would like to set an expectation for how successful telemarketing calls might be. If you've done this, how large was your donor list? What was the average donor age? What criteria did you use to identify these donors? Did you pair this with a mail or email appeal? What was your conversion rate? Any information you could provide would be most helpful."
