Update: America Gives More Act (H.R. 644)
Last week, the Senate gutted the bill by using an amendment to replace all of the language and turning the legislation into a trade/customs bill. Long story short: the charitable incentives previously in H.R. 644 need to be reintroduced or attached to another existing bill. AFP is talking with Congress and its nonprofit partners on next steps.
