Update: IRA Rollover Passes the House
The House of Representatives has approved H.R. 644, which includes several giving provisions, including the IRA Charitable Rollover. The White House has already promised a veto of the bill because it does not contain offsets to cover the costs of the provision. The House passed the bill by a vote of 279 - 137, which is just 11 votes short needed to override a veto. The legislation now heads to the Senate, and AFP will inform members if grassroots action is needed to move the bill forward.

AFP Board Approves New Format for the Code of Ethical Standards
