Charitable Giving Coalition Sends Letter to Rep. Paul Ryan
The Charitable Giving Coalition, chaired by AFP, recently sent a letter to Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.), chair of the Budget Committee and key player on tax reform, thanking him for his comments on the unique nature of the charitable deduction and the potential negative impact of Rep. Dave Camp's proposed tax reform plan on giving.
Are You Underestimating the Philanthropic Potential of High-Wealth Women?
New data commissioned by Women Moving Millions (WMM) show that North American women today have the capacity to give an estimated $230 billion annually to philanthropy. That figure is approximately equal to all charitable giving from individuals in the US in 2013.
