Diversity Touches All of Us, Whether Obvious or Not
As we near the deadline to submit for the Charles R. Stephens Exellence in Diversity Chapter Award (Aug. 15!), we're reminded how much we are surrounded by passion for diversity. As the co-chairs of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force, Jaye Lopez Van Soest, CFRE and James Phelps, ACFRE, know a thing or two about the importance of diversity awareness. Their words of wisdom for incorporating diversity into your programs and every day work will help you in creating a more inclusive world.
Nominations Open for Chapter Diversity, AFP Leadership Awards
The Charles R. Stephens Award recognizes chapters for their outstanding work in encouraging diversity and inclusion, while the Barbara Marion Award honors an AFP member for his or her volunteer work for AFP and the profession at the local, national and international levels.
