2013 was a big year for AFP, the fundraising sector and philanthropy as a whole. Here are the top ten biggest stories, articles, tips and beyond from 2013whether it was ground-breaking news or a step-by-step article that influenced your fundraising throughout the year.

Russ Reid, founder of his namesake organization, passed away Dec. 7 at the age of 82. Reid saw the need for a modern, professional approach to raising funds, and in 1964 he created an organization that would change the world of fundraising. (RussReid) Read more.
