New Study Examines Charitable Giving Trends in Canada In a report recently released by The University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy, author Abigail Payne examines the landscape for charitable giving in Canada. Legislation to Extend the Deadline to Make Charitable Gifts Bill C-458, the National Charities Week Act, proposes to extend the annual deadline for individuals to receive tax recognition for charitable gifts.
