About the course:

The First Course in Fundraising is a comprehensive learning experience giving professionals a fundamental understanding of the entire development process.
First Course Independent Study allows maximum flexibility. Students may take the entire course, or focus on only one of the modules. Best of all, individuals can complete the course at their own pace.
In this course: Learn how to organize and manage fundraising programs and gain an overview of a variety of fundraising techniques, including annual campaigns, capital campaigns, grant support and major gifts. Also covered are the basics of development office management.
About the speakers: The on-camera course instructors are Robert Fogal, Ph.D., ACFRE, and Jill Pranger, CFRE. Both are experienced fundraisers and graduates of the AFP Faculty Training Academy.
