2012 Leadership Academy - Houston, TX, Oct. 18-20, 2012
In its sixth year, the 2012 Leadership Academy is an opportunity for you to enrich your career and enhance your leadership skills. We'll inspire you to reach new heights with AFP and within the profession, all while engaging with other AFP members. Leadership Academy is a members-only event and a benefit for leaders within the AFP community.
The Leadership Academy officially kicks off at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 18 but chapter presidents, presidents-elect and chapter administrators are strongly encouraged to attend the Thursday morning session from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., Chapter Management 101: What You Need to Know About Running Your Chapter. This session is designed for presidents, presidents-elect, and chapter administrators who are looking for guidance on operating a successful and thriving AFP chapter. Please plan to join us, especially if you are starting your term as chapter president in 2013!
