us as we learn about the Comprehensive
Development Department from one of the
best, Dr. Tim Seiler. He will share his
knowledge of how to use time effectively
with the different disciplines of fundraising,
from major gifts to annual campaigns to
events, and how they fit together to create
the most successful results for your
Master Session: 1 – 2 p.m. (focused for
fundraisers with 7 plus years of experience,
open to all) Cost for members is $15 in
advance and $20 at the door. Non-members
is $25 in advance and $30 at the door.
Dr. Seiler will expand his thoughts on taking
your department to the next level at this
master session. His presentation will focus
on major gifts and some personal
experiences followed by two short question
and answer sessions.
Timothy L. Seiler, CFRE, B.A., M.A., Ph.D.
Dr. Tim Seiler is the Director of Public Service
and The Fundraising School at the Center on
Philanthropy at Indiana University. He has
been a faculty member since 1986 and the
Director since 1994. Formerly vice president of
the Indiana University Foundation, Seiler was a
major gifts officer for university development.
He led the comprehensive fundraising program
for the campus. He serves the nonprofit sector
not only as a fundraiser, author, and teacher,
but also as a board member and campaign
committee member for several nonprofits.
