AFP-Ozarks Region Chapter LuncheonOctober 8, 2013
The 2nd Tuesday of each month at noon is the new time for our AFP lunches.
The meetings will be held in the Turner Family Hospitality Suite on the 1st floor of the Missouri State University, Meyer Alumni Center. The building is located at 300 South Jefferson Street Springfield, MO. 65806. Parking is available in the attached garage with entry off McDaniel Street.

Guest Speakers are Jamie McGranahan and William Tate from Art Inspire
Jamie McGranahan is a wife and mother of two children. Her son Connor is 20 and is deaf and has autism. Connor introduced her to the world of autism and Jamie has developed a deep relationship in the southwest Missouri autism community.
Jamie is currently the project manager for Art Inspired Academy, a program working to provide an inclusive experience for individuals with disabilities in the arts community. Jamie works with local and national artist to
Develop this support. She is currently working with The Miracle Project. This was the focus of an Emmy award winning documentary “Autism the Musical.” Jamie will be leading the Miracle Project Midwest.
Prior to this , Jamie was the Lead for the Behavior Resource Team with the Department of Mental Health. She worked with families , contracted providing agencies and individuals with developmental disabilities and behavioral concerns. She Is a physical restraint trainer and positive behavior intervention support implementer.
Jamie and her husband Clay live in Rogersville. They are actively involved with Springfield Little Theatre. Connor is happy to have an upstairs apartment in their home and their daughter recently began her freshman year at MU, majoring in nursing.
William Tate is the Sales Manager for Art Inspired. This job consist of setting up document destruction accounts, selling Art Inspired products, marketing our location as a meeting place as well as for all occasion parties such as birthdays, weddings, reunions, and holidays.
William has been in the construction industry most of his career, involved with construction supply sales across the Midwest and alsorunning his own decorative concrete company.
William has been married to Angela Tate for 26 years, Angela is the Director of Service Coordinator for the Next Step. They have two daughters McKenzie is 21 and a senior at Truman State and then continuing on to medical school, Ellie is 15 and a sophomore at Parkview, she is on the golf team, soccer team, and involved with student council.
