About the Speaker, Phoebe Acheson:
Phoebe Acheson, Grants Resource Librarian at the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, will demonstrate some of the incredible free services of the Grants Resource Center located at the Main Branch downtown, including online and print resources for grant-seeking, nonprofit management, and a monthly series of introductory classes on the world of grants and proposal writing. She will demonstrate subscription databases from the Foundation Center. Foundation Directory Online Professional provides an extensive data set of information about foundations and grants, and Philanthropy In/Sight allows the visualization of this data in map format.
If your grants program needs a shot of energy, this session can help! You will be inspired by all the resources right at your fingertips. Funding for that new project could be right around the corner, if you know where to look!
