“What Gets Measured Gets Done...or Does it?”
The economy has changed over the past few years and it seems doubtful we are nearing the end of this cycle of change. As development professionals, it is necessary and essential for us to be telling our stories and speaking with our donors every day. If we are not, someone else will. It’s time to go back to the basics by building quality teams, managing them, using metrics to measure performance and establishing benchmarks. Join us for this informative, lively session to learn strong management tools and how to enable your teams to do their best to make your organization as successful as possible. This is a session you won’t want to miss!
10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. - Educational Session 2 with Audrey Kintzi, ACFRE
“Authentic Leadership in Fundraising”
Could your leadership experiences with certain groups be described as “trying to herd cats”? Then this energetic session is for you. Let’s talk about leadership in a way that will not only improve your life through self-awareness but also produce results. Authentic leadership is an approach to leadership that emphasizes building the leader’s legitimacy through honest relationships built on an ethical foundation. By building trust and generating enthusiastic support from donors and colleagues, authentic leaders are able to improve individual, organizational and team performance.
