AFP HI, Aloha Chapter: Collaborative Training with HANO, "Increasing Your Contributions Through a Major gifts Program"

July 30, 2014

Sponsored by HANO and AFP Aloha Chapter and supported by the Annie Sinclair Knudsen Memorial Fund, this session is for executive directors, development staff, board members, and fundraising volunteers who want to raise significantly more money for their organizations by making the leap into major gifts fundraising, but haven't had the courage or know-how. If your focus on event planning and grant writing has left little or no time to focus on your biggest and best donors, this session is for you. If you want to start or grow your major gifts program, this session is for you. Whether a major gift for your organization is $1,000 or $100,000, you will learn how to identify good prospects, cultivation techniques, appropriate solicitation language, and stewardship best practices.

Bonus Session on Planned Giving: Simple tips to begin or strengthen a Planned Giving Program for your organization.  Join us for an hour discussion from noon to 1 p.m. on simple techniques to encourage planned gifts to your organization.  You are welcome to bring a brown bag lunch.
