St. Louis AFP: Monthly Luncheon: Building Effective Corporate Partnerships for your Non-ProfitAugust 28, 2014
Presented by Diane C. Bauhof, CFRE and John Sartorius, this program will focus on how to incorporate corporate sponsorships into your nonprofit plan in creative and strategic ways – regardless of your organization’s size. The presenters will provide an overview of the corporate partnership arena and share insights about how you can expand your partnership efforts without sacrificing your mission integrity.
Corporate partners today expect more from their investment than ever before. It is a rare occasion when a company doesn’t have to consider more than just a “good cause” when making their funding decisions. However, the good news for the nonprofit sector is that companies have learned the high value that a reputable nonprofit can bring to the company’s brand, image, employees and shareholders.
You will hear examples of effective – and in some cases not so effective – real-life partnerships from both a non-profit and for-profit perspective. The speakers will communicate tips and research that can be successfully applied to grow your partnership efforts going forward.
In order to tailor the presentation to your needs, the speakers are requesting you take a quick (4 questions) survey to get a feel for how sponsorships are currently used at your organization and to see if you have sponsorship-related questions they can address in their presentation. Also, you can offer to have your event/program be a sample “test case” the speakers will use in their presentation.
