Topic:  Planned Giving in a Medium-Sized Development Office
Speaker:  Douglas L. Siebenaler, Director of Legacy Giving at Sunshine, Inc. and Sunshine Foundation, Inc.

Our speaker will be Douglas L. Siebenaler, Director of Legacy Giving at Sunshine, Inc. and Sunshine Foundation, Inc. (formerly Sunshine Children's Home) in Maumee, Ohio.

Mr. Siebenaler joined Sunshine in 1987 as Coordinator of Volunteers. He accepted increasingly responsible positions in the organization, including Manager of Spiritual Life and Volunteer Resources in 1989, and Director of Development in 1991. He is currently Director of Legacy Giving.

Prior to Sunshine, Doug worked as a live-in manager of a home that offered assisted living services to the elderly and as a staff person in the Head Start Program in Fulton County.

Doug has a bachelor's degree in philosophy from St. Meinrad College in Indiana and a bachelor's degree in theology from the Universita di San Tomaso in Rome, Italy.

He served eight years as an ordained Roman Catholic clergyman in Northwest Ohio (1977 to 1985).
