CFRE - Certified Fund Raising Executive

The Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential demonstrates an individual's mastery of the standards set for core knowledge and skills required of fundraising executives after five years of experience.

The CFRE Review Course provides an overview of the development function for fundraising professionals who would like to improve their skills, learn to raise money more efficiently or build their current development skills.

It is designed for professionals at the five-year or above level of experience who may be preparing to take the CFRE Certification Exam, and is applicable to other mid-level practitioners.

The course consists of nine modules and is offered over a two-day period.  It is presented through lecture, case studies, and the encouragement of participant dialogue.  Participant manuals via a CD are distributed to each registrant.

This practice-based designation requires demonstration of having met these standards through both an application and a written examination.
