As institutional financial and program needs soar, fundraising must move to the next levels. How can your organization turn major donors into mega donors? In this session Bob Carter will address the difference between major and mega donors as well as identify where mega donors are, what they are looking for, who they are, and who knows them.
Bob Carter is President and CEO of Bob Carter Companies LLC with offices in the USA and Mexico. Bob’s experience includes a 26-year career with Ketchum (including 15 years as President), at that time one of the largest firms in the fundraising industry, and serving as Senior Advisor to Changing Our World and Omnicom Nonprofit Group working out of New York and London.
A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Bob has published articles in numerous professional journals and frequently serves as a lecturer and presenter.
Bob Carter is current Chair for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) International Board of Directors. He also serves on the board of directors for: the National Aquarium (Chair), Lilly Family School of Philanthropy, Indiana University, and The Mote Marine Laboratory (Chair Emeritus). He has chaired and served on numerous other boards.
