About the Program
When donors make planned gifts, there is often a professional advisor in the room as the decision is made. 
This may be an estate planning attorney, a CPA or financial planner. 

Cynthia Krause, a nationally recognized speaker and author on planned giving, 
has conducted a survey of both development officers and professional advisors to address the following:

• How should development officers partner with professional advisors?

How can we encourage professional advisors to raise the “charitable giving question” with their clients?

What do professional advisors want from development officers?

In this session, Cynthia will share her results and insights with you. 
You'll leave this session armed with the tools you need in your planned giving work with donors.

About the Presenter
Cynthia W. Krause, JD, has worked in the field of charitable gift planning with nonprofit organizations, 
individuals, families and family foundations for 25 years. She currently serves as Vice President of Gift Planning 
for Baylor Health Foundation. She previously served as president and primary consultant 
for Wilson & Krause, a philanthropic and family advisory services firm and practiced law 
with the firm of Manning & Miller, LLP.

Each edition of the AFP Forum series is $10 (breakfast) or $15 (lunch) for AFP Members; $25 for nonmembers. Join us at the Holiday Inn on the Plaza, One East 45th Street, KCMO 64111.
