Presentation  by Eileen Connolly-Keesler of The Community Foundation of Collier County

"What the Community Foundation Can Do for Local Non-Profits and How to Apply for Funding"

Presenter: Eileen Connolly-Keesler is the new President/CEO of the Community Foundation of Collier County effective January 2013. As President, Connolly-Keesler oversees the foundation to address community needs by providing leadership and coordination through grant making and fund development. The Community Foundation has over $64 million in assets and 400 funds.

Program Description: This presentation will explore the topic of community foundations - how they work, how they support the community, and why they are so popular with donors. There will also be a discussion regarding the inter-generational transfer of wealth throughout Collier County, Florida, and the United States.
