The AFP Topeka Chapter on Philanthropy was founded in 1989. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month (most months) at the Topeka Shawnee County Public Library, 1515 SW 10th Avenue. (SEPTEMBER MONTHLY MEETING IS IN LAWRENCE AND IS A BROWN BAG EVENT.) Lunch is available in the library's café and may be carried into the meeting room. Outside food is not allowed. Networking is from 11:30 to Noon, followed by a speaker and the program ends promptly at 1 p.m. We have members and visitors from many Northeast and Central Kansas communities in addition to Topeka. For your first visit, you are encouraged to be our guest at no charge (except the cost of your own meal).
