Leadership Society Inducts New Members

Leadership Society Chair Philip G. Schumacher, ACFRE Ω, welcomed 12 new members into the Leadership Society. A formal induction ceremony was held during the society's 6th annual meeting during the AFP International Conference on Fundraising last month in Chicago. The new members are:

Lori Gusdorf, CAE Ω, Vice President, Member and Chapter Services at AFP in Arlington, VA and an AFP International Member at Large;

Timothy D. Logan, ACFRE, Vice President for Planned Giving at RuffaloCODY in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and a member of the AFP DC, Washington DC Metro Area Chapter;
Gwenn M. and Mark A. Neville, CFRE Ω Mark is Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and a member of the AFP MN, Southern Minnesota and AFP WI, Upper Mississippi Valley Chapters;
Steven S. Smith, CFRE, Vice President for Foundation and Resource Development at St. Ann's Community in Rochester, NY, and a member of the AFP NY, Genesee Valley Chapter;
Barbara Talisman, Vice President at Pursuant Ketchum in the Greater Chicago, IL area and a member of the AFP IL, Chicago and the AFP DC, Washington DC Metro Area Chapters.
Members of the Leadership Society actively support the work of AFP, the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy and the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy - Canada as board and committee members, mentors, and advisers. Their leadership and counsel enhance the profession by advancing ethical and effective fundraising internationally.
Members of the Leadership Society demonstrate sustaining commitment to the profession through their individual, cumulative giving of at least $10,000 and annual gifts of $1000 or more.The Ω symbol identifies Leadership Society members who have also made a planned gift to AFP through their wills or estate plans and have joined the Omega Circle.
