March 1, 2008
(March 3, 2008) The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy has announced the top-performing chapters in the 2007 Annual Fund.
Every year, AFP Foundation for Philanthropy recognizes outstanding chapter performance in the Annual Fund. The foundation recognizes chapters in five award categories within each grouping of like-size chapters.
The categories include: Highest Annual Fund Giving, Highest Every Member Campaign (EMC) Giving, Highest Percent Member Participation, Highest Chapter Treasury Campaign and Highest EMC Dollars Per Decision. Each award includes a $250 gift for chapters to use towards various activities.
Additionally, an Award of Excellence is given to the chapter that has the highest overall per capita giving and includes a gift of $500.
The foundation formally recognizes the award winners during the AFP International Conference on Fundraising during the Chapter Presidents' Council meeting.
“The award-winning fundraising performances of these AFP chapters are an inspiration to us all and set a model for other chapters to emulate,” said Curtis C. Deane, CFRE, CAE, president of the foundation.
