The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy and Ruffalo Noel Levitz began their partnership seven years ago, with the firm taking primary responsibility for managing the foundation’s calling program. The Annual Fund supports key initiatives in the areas of diversity and inclusion, professional education and leadership development and research.
Ruffalo Noel Levitz just raised its one millionth dollar for the AFP Foundation on June 12. Throughout its extraordinary partnership with AFP, Ruffalo Noel Levitz has provided more than $1 million of professional services—all pro bono—to the foundation, reflecting the firm’s commitment to advancing ethical and effective fundraising.
“I speak for all of our boards and staff when I say AFP is so thankful for the generosity, dedication and leadership of Ruffalo Noel Levitz—and in particular its president and CEO, Stephen Meyer—in working with the fundraising community,” said Andrew Watt, FInstF, president and CEO of AFP. “This partnership isn’t just about supporting AFP—it’s bringing vital assets and resources to the fundraising profession and philanthropy, so that we can provide programs that benefit charities and those who lead, serve and support nonprofits in the interest of the public good.”
I am pleased and proud that we have achieved this tremendous milestone with AFP,” said Sarah Kleebrerger, president, fundraising management, for Ruffalo Noel Levitz. “We strive to help nonprofit organizations fulfill their very important missions, and in working with the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy we have the opportunity to further advance that purpose. It is an honor to play this role in supporting the great work fundraising professionals do every day.”
The calling program is one component of AFP’s multi-channel BE The CAUSE campaign, which is already more than halfway to its 2015 goal of $500,000. Additional information about the BE The CAUSE campaign can be found on its website: www.afpfoundation.org/bethecause.
