Get Up Close and Personal with Your Donors -Tracey Bailey Webcast Still Available!

The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy – Canada was pleased to sponsor the live streaming recording of a workshop session during the AFP Greater Toronto Chapter Congress on November 20, 2012. Click here to hear the presentation by Tracy Bailey, CFRE, “Up Close and Personal – Write and Converse More Authentically with Donors”. This workshop focuses on personal correspondence and telephone skills, exploring how a fundraiser can nourish the donor’s experience of an organization’s promises through speech and writing.

About the presenter

Tracey Bailey is president and CEO of the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation.  She is both a fundraiser and communicator, writing professionally for 31 years and raising funds for 26 of those years. As a communications specialist, Tracey has experience in public, government and community relations, marketing, sponsorship and fundraising communications and print and television journalism.

Tracey rejoined Holland Bloorview in March 2010 and was appointed President & CEO in May 2012. Previously she was the Foundation’s Defy Disability Campaign Director from 2002-2005 and a client of the organization since 1978. In the last decade, Tracey has directed eight capital campaigns with goals ranging from $3M to $500M, and has worked in every development function in most non-profit sectors.
