Canada’s Premier Philanthropy Supplement: “National Philanthropy Day®—Because of You”
AFP and The Globe and Mail are partnering on a special supplement about charitable giving and fundraising that will be released on Nov. 15, National Philanthropy Day®. The deadline for reserving ad space for the supplement, “National Philanthropy Day®—Because of You” is Tuesday, October 4.
AFP and The Globe and Mail’s annual National Philanthropy Day® supplement is the premier supplement focusing on Canadian fundraising and philanthropy, reaching 1.3 million daily readers. The Globe and Mail is also a favorite publication of Canadian senior executives, read by 71 percent of all executives and 76 percent of presidents, CEOs and chairpersons. Weekday readers to The Globe and Mail gave more than $100 million last year.
The supplement will cover a variety of issues related to giving and fundraising, including ethics, efficiency, maximizing gifts and how donors can make the most impact, including spotlights of innovative organizations and individuals in the philanthropic sector.

The supplement will include a limited number of one-eighth, quarter-, half- and full-page advertizing positions. The Globe and Mail will also reprint additional copies of the report and provide an online PDF version of the supplement. The special section also will appear online at for seven days and thereafter will be archived for 90 days.
