Every Member Campaign Achieves 2005 Goal
(Feb. 6, 2005) AFP Foundation for Philanthropy’s Every Member Campaign (EMC) enjoyed another highly successful year in 2005, reaching its goal and raising nearly 10 percent more than in 2004.
The EMC, which raises unrestricted funds for scholarships, lectures, research and educational programs, raised more than $548,000, exceeding the 2005 goal of $526,000. Through the combined efforts of chapter volunteers, the Advantage Calling Program and the year-end mail solicitation from EU Services, 113 chapters achieved their EMC goals, making them eligible for the 2005 EMC Chapter Partnership Grant. Among chapter boards, 73 achieved 100 percent board participation, showing strong leadership and support at the chapter level.
Other components of the Foundation’s Annual Fund reached great results as well. More than $105,000 was given by 132 chapters in the Chapter Treasury Campaign, exceeding the goal of $100,000. The Board and Staff Campaigns also met their goals, with the latter achieving 100 percent participation.
“This kind of success is another clear testament to the importance members place on the foundation and the critical contributions it makes to our profession,” said AFP Foundation for Philanthropy President Curtis C. Deane, CFRE, CAE. “I want to thank all of our members and chapters who participated in the 2005 campaign. Your support is making a difference!”
