Participate in the 2012 Nonprofit Fundraising Survey to Benchmark Your Fundraising Results!
Ever wonder if other fundraisers have the same concerns as you? Curious how your fundraising compares to those of your colleagues?
Please participate in the Nonprofit Fundraising Survey, conducted by AFP as part of the Nonprofit Research Collaborative, so you can compare your results with others, explore connections between fundraising trends and activity, and use the data to raise funds more effectively.
The Nonprofit Fundraising Survey is the ONLY survey in Canada that looks at how charities fared in different techniques of fundraising (from direct mail to online giving) and compares the results based on size, budget and subsector. The survey also looks at different trends and what affected an organization’s fundraising the most for a given year.
The current survey asks questions about a charity’s 2012 fundraising results in comparison to 2011. The questions do not ask for any specific amounts or values.
“One of the most important ways we can improve as fundraisers is by having data that we can use to chart how we’re doing collectively, benchmark our work and see where we can improve,” said Andrew Watt, FInstF, president and CEO of AFP. “This is the second year of the survey, so we’ll have data we can compare to last year, making the results and analysis even more valuable. I encourage every member to participate so we can have the most comprehensive data possible.”
The survey is available at the link below and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Results to-date will be shared when you are done with the survey, and final results will be announced at AFP’s International Conference on Fundraising in April.
The survey closes on February 15 so visit the link today! Remember, the survey doesn’t ask for specific amount or values, so have your fundraising results handy to compare year-end totals.
Thank you for your participation! If you have any questions, contact Michael Nilsen, vice president, public affairs, at email@example.com.
