AFP and the CBC Fundraising Article
The CBC is producing a series of articles and reports on fundraising and the charitable sector. The first article contains misleading information and paints a less than flattering portrait of the sector, despite telemarketing being just one facet of fundraising operations.
The CBC is planning more articles later this week, and AFP will continue to respond and represent the fundraising profession.
This page will contain AFP's responses, talking points and other resources to help members keep track of developments and create their own responses.
*New* AFP member Ron Bailey, president of Ron Bailey and Associates in Winnipeg, was recently interviewed by CBC Radio regarding the recent articles on fundraising costs and telemarketing. Listen to this interview (Audio file will launch in new window).
