Enterprise Technology Company Helps Identify High-Impact Donors
(Arlington, VA) The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the largest community of fundraising professionals in the world, has announced a new strategic partnership with Relationship Science (RelSci), a technology solutions company that enables organizations to strategically leverage the collective connections of employees, executives, and board members in order to shorten fundraising cycles and identify high-impact donors.
The partnership supports AFP’s mission to advance effective fundraising in nonprofits around the world through the provision of top-notch, cutting-edge education and training and the promulgation of the highest ethical standards in the profession. As part of the new partnership, RelSci will exhibit and host educational sessions at AFP events around the country.
“We are excited to partner with Relationship Science to support the work of fundraising and philanthropy in transforming communities and our world,” said Andrew Watt, FInstF, president and CEO of AFP. “Relationship Science understands that philanthropy and fundraising revolve around the connections between charities and donors, and that fundraisers are the catalysts that create and grow those connections. Together, as strategic partners, AFP and Relationship Science will work together to provide tools and resources to help fundraisers enhance those connections, inspire donors, and create positive change in our world.”
RelSci’s unique relationship mapping platform helps nonprofit organizations identify potentially high-impact donors by leveraging their existing connections and developing new ones. The RelSci database contains detailed information and intelligence about 4 million business and civic leaders and the one million organizations with which they are affiliated. This valuable intelligence enables introductions and ensures that nonprofit development teams are equipped with the information needed to make every interaction a warm one, facilitating successful connections with potential donors.
“Relationships are an incredibly valuable professional resource that most organizations have no idea how to access,” said Neal Goldman, CEO of Relationship Science. “Helping nonprofit clients find innovative ways to advance their fundraising strategies has been a major driver of our business, and this partnership will expand our reach and enable us to help even more organizations in support of their missions.”
The AFP Strategic Partners Program provides opportunity for leading organizations to align with AFP, support its mission to advance philanthropy and ethical fundraising throughout the world, and build year-round relationships with AFP members and chapters through customized marketing programs.
