Keep Updated on Technology with AFP's Nonprofit Tech Blog
December 18, 2005
(Dec. 19, 2005) AFP members now can keep track of what is happening with technology and the nonprofit sector with AFP's Nonprofit Tech Blog, another free member service.
The blog features new stories from across North America and around the world that address how charities are using technology to help raise funds and provide services. Members also will be able to hear about opportunities for charities to receive grants or participate in programs to help boost their own technology resources and infrastructure.
The Nonprofit Tech Blog is just one of AFP's online blogs that provide a wealth of daily news and reports to members. Other blogs focus on youth in philanthropy, government regulation, charity press releases and National Philanthropy Day®. Members should start with AFP's Blog of Blogs, which contains a set of frequently asked questions and links to all the other blogs.
A blog (short for weblog) is typically a journal or newsletter that is frequently updated and intended for general public consumption. AFP's blogs serve as a resource and news depository for issues related to charities and charitable fundraising.
AFP's blogs are a service of the Fundraising Resource Center, which provides members with a wide variety of free resources, such as sample documents including development plans and gift acceptance policies.
If you need information on any issue or topic related to fundraising, contact the Resource Center at 800-688-3463 or email@example.com.
