Emilio Alonso-Mendoza, J.D., CFRE, has been appointed to serve as president/CEO of Take Stock in Children in Miami, Fla. He was formerly president of the Archdiocese of Miami Development Corporation and the Catholic Community Foundation in the Archdiocese of Miami.
Adrienne D. Capps, MBA, CFRE, is now assistant dean, development & external relations at University of California, Davis in Davis, Calif. She was previously the senior director of development at the UC Davis School of Management.
Heather Cochrane, CFRE, is now executive director of the Foundation for the Performing Arts, in San Luis Obispo. She was formerly director of development & alumni/ae relations at High Mowing School in Wilton, N.H.
Susan E. Daily, CFRE, has been appointed director of development for Asociacion Puertorriquenos en Marcha (APM) of Philadelphia, Pa. She was formerly regional vice president of development for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Delaware in Wilmington, Del.
Michael Davis is now chief development officer for CommuniCare Health Centers in San Antonio, Texas. Davis has returned to Texas after serving for 7 years as VP of the CHRISTUS Health Central Louisiana Foundation.
Bobby Dean, Jr., CFRE, is now director of philanthropic services, planned giving, at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
Margie Puerta Edson, CFRE, is now the executive director of the Catholic Foundation for Stewardship and Charitable Giving in the Catholic Diocese of Tucson. Margie was formerly the executive director for stewardship at the Charity & Ministry Fund.
Jennifer Yee Fairweather is now fund development manager at Chemainus Theatre Festival Society in Chemainus, British Columbia. She was formerly alumni and sponsorship coordinator with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Vancouver Island.
Angela Heer is now vice president for advancement and external relations at Avila University in Kansas City, Mo. She was formerly director of fund development at Harvesters in Kansas City.
Scott Jackson, CFRE, has been named chief executive officer of Global Impact in Alexandria, Va. Jackson joins Global Impact after five years serving as vice president for external relations at PATH in Seattle, Wash.
Michelle Jacobson, president of the California Santa Barbara/Ventura Counties Chapter, is now director of development for medical education and scholarship programs at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. She was formerly director of development at the California Lutheran University School of Business.
Marjorie Lamberson is now director of philanthropy at The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society in Harrisburg, Pa. She was formerly senior development officer for Lancaster General College of Nursing and Health Sciences.
William Leh, CFRE, is now director of strategic partnerships at Cornerstone Literacy, Inc., in New York. Prior to joining CLI, Leh served as senior consultant for Farr Associates Consulting LLC and as executive director for Communities In Schools of the Lehigh Valley.
Angela S. Lett is now associate director of development, College of Social Science, Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan. She was formerly director of development, The Graduate School, UNC Charlotte, Charlotte, N.C.
Tania Little, CFRE, has been named director of philanthropy of Second Harvest in Toronto, Ontario. She most recently was the chief idea officer for ideate Philanthropy Ltd. in Toronto.
Josephine McCormick is now development director at 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa California. Previously, McCormick held positions for 10 years with KRCB Public Broadcasting as membership manager and manager of major gifts with the KRCB Leadership Circle.
Christina Moore-Salinas, CFRE, is now a consultant with Clarkson Davis in Dallas, Texas. She was formerly on staff at The Visiting Nurse Association of Texas.
Lucille Ramirez (formerly Lucille Boss) is now development specialist for Santa Barbara Partners in Education in Santa Barbara, Calif. She was previously development coordinator for Santa Barbara Neighborhood Clinics.
Robin Rowland is now executive director of development at Avila University in Kansas City, Mo. She formerly served as vice president, development and public relations, at The Humane Society of Greater Kansas City.
Sarah L. Spradlin, CFRE, has joined Mercy Health Foundation as regional vice president for the east communities. She formerly served as vice president for development and associate executive director at Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.
Lynn Susman is now president of Children's Hospital Trust in Boston, Mass. She was formerly executive vice president, campaigns and major gifts, at this organization.
Barbara Tartaglia is now the associate vice president for development for the University of Toledo main campus and principal gift officer for the UT College of Law. Tartaglia formerly served as associate vice president and principal gifts officer at The University of Cincinnati Foundation.
