So you've registered for the 48th AFP International Conference on Fundraising. First of all, thank you! Here is a quick glance at some changes and features of the conference that will make this conference one to remember.

Staying Connected

In addition to the conference website at http://conference.afpnet.org/, where you can find the schedule, housing information, and other important attendee information, you should also bookmark the Conference Hub website for updates and announcements. Log on to www.afpnet.org/chicago for a central place to get news and updates and links to all relevant resources to stay up to date with the event.

Social Media

To access the Facebook fan page for the conference, simply login to Facebook and search for "The 48th AFP International Conference on Fundraising-Chicago." You can read and participate in the ongoing buzz about conference on Twitter by using the hashtag #afpmeet. If you want a message to come up in AFP's conference Twitter feed just include #afpmeet anywhere in your tweet. Also look for the AFP conference group on LinkedIn.

Monday, March 21
Education sessions begin at 8 a.m.
Exhibit Hall (Marketplace) opens at 8:45 a.m.
General Session starts at 9:30 a.m. featuring Queen Latifah
Awards Banquet (AFP Celebration of Philanthropy) starts at 6 p.m. (Pre-registration required)

Tuesday, March 22
Educations session begin at 8 a.m.
Exhibit Hall (Marketplace) opens at 8:45 a.m.
General Session starts at 2 p.m. featuring President Bill Clinton
Conference closes at 3:30 p.m.

The AFP Square. Need a place to recharge and rest? Plug in your cell phone and laptop, rest your feet, get a cup of coffee and visit with colleagues at the AFP Square. The square is located near the AFP bookstore, where you can peruse a wide array of helpful books on fundraising.
