Inclusion and Philanthropy: Fellows Recognized at 2016 AFP Toronto Congress
December 6, 2016
The AFP Foundation for Philanthropy – Canada would like to congratulate the second cohort of Fellows on their completion of the Inclusion and Philanthropy program. The second cohort of fellows was recognized in front of their peers during the AFP Toronto Congress on November 22.
During the past eight months, 35 Fellows have had the opportunity to receive concentrated education and training in the areas of diversity, inclusion and fundraising leadership. They have each also been paired with a mentor who has supported their learning and career goals. Each Fellow has become a true leader in inclusion within our sector.
We are excited to share the Fellow inclusion projects with you on our website: www.afpinclusivegiving.ca. These projects are the culmination of their learning in this fellowship. You can also find out more about the Fellows on the website and read their blog posts on a variety of fundraising and diversity themes.
You can also follow their journey by signing up for the Fellows newsletter and follow them on social media @InclusiveGiving to find out what’s next for the program.
Congratulations to our new Fellows, and many thanks to all of those who have supported the Fellows program!
