New National Philanthropy Day Supplement from AFP & The Globe and Mail

National Philanthropy Day is the special time charities pauses in their work to thank donors and volunteers for all of their support throughout the year.
And now charities can thank their donors in a very special way by advertising in the AFP/Globe and Mail “National Philanthropy Day” supplement that will be published on Nov. 13.
Special discounted advertising rates are available for charities and nonprofit organizations if they reserve space by October 2.
Featured articles in the supplement will focus on how charities are celebrating National Philanthropy Day this year, the power of partnerships in providing programs, stories of great philanthropists and volunteers, and how donors can make a gift go further and have greater impact.
AFP has been working with the Globe and Mail for over ten years in producing supplements that cover the world of Canadian philanthropy while inspiring donors, volunteers and the general public.
Weekday readers to The Globe and Mail gave more than $100 million last year. The publication reaches more than six million Canadians every week and is the most-read publication by Canada’s senior executives.
The “National Philanthropy Day” supplement will include a limited number of one-eighth, quarter-, half- and full-page advertising positions that you can use to tell the story of your organization and highlight your top supporters. The Globe and Mail will also reprint additional copies of the report and provide an online PDF version of the supplement.
The deadline for reserving ad space in the Nov. 12 supplement is October 2.
