Meet This Year’s Board!

Bob Carter, CFRE, is AFP’s chair for 2013, but he’s not the association’s only experienced and outstanding volunteer leader this year. The members of AFP’s executive committee and board contain a wealth of fundraising and community knowledge, know-how and perspective to help lead the association through this exciting year.

Here are AFP’s officers for 2013 (you can see their pictures here):

Bob Carter, CFRE: Chair. Bob is the president and CEO of Bob Carter Companies, based in Sarasota, Fla.

Patrick Feeley, MBA, CFRE: Chair Elect. Pat is assistant vice president at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation in Philadelphia, Pa.

Andrea McManus, CFRE: Immediate Past Chair. Andrea is president of The Development Group in Calgary, Alberta.

Joe Goepfrich, CFRE: Vice Chair of Membership Services. Joe is chief development officer of Child & Family Services of Southwest Michigan in Benton Harbor, Mich.

Tania Little, CFRE: Vice Chair of Professional Advancement. Tania is director of philanthropy for Second Harvest in Toronto, Ontario.

Josh Newton, CFRE: Vice Chair of External Relations. Josh is vice president, development and alumni relations for Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.

Kevin Foyle, CFRE: Vice Chair of Resource Development and Chair of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy. Kevin is associate vice president for development at Rice University in Houston, Texas.

Scott Decksheimer, CFRE: Vice Chair of Resource Development for Canada and Chair of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy-Canada. Scott is president and principal consultant with Nine Lions Development Consulting in Calgary, Alberta.

Catherine Connolly, CFRE: Treasurer. Catherine is a consultant with CMConnolly in Elk Grove, Calif.

Ann Hale, MA, CFRE: Secretary. Ann is the advancement director with Anchorage Museum in Anchorage, Alaska.
