August 8, 2018
One seat on the AFP Board is held by a representative of the Chapter President’s Council (CPC). On a personal note, it has been a true honor for me to serve you and my fellow AFP members as the CPC representative. I encourage you to run for this position on the AFP Board of Directors. It is not a figurehead position. As one of twenty-four board members, you will have the opportunity to chair meetings and serve on several international committees. The Association is a leader in shaping the future of philanthropy internationally. Through your service on the board you will gain a greater understanding of how the Association operates and have the chance to truly make a difference in our 33,000+ member organization. Your contributions will have direct benefit to our profession.
Thank you for your service to AFP.
