COMMENTAFP Northern New England Chapter
The Northern New England Chapter of AFP was founded when the Maine chapter merged with the Vermont/New Hampshire group. Since then, this tri-state chapter has grown to include more than 250 members. The chapter organizes an annual conference, which rotates among the three states; presents networking events in each state; and offers professional development, educational, and networking opportunities to its members.
The chapter is overseen by a board comprised of 24 members, 8 from each of the three states. Board meetings are held in Concord, NH, in January, April, June, and September. The chapter's Annual Meeting is held in November in conjunction with the annual conference and the celebration of National Philanthropy Day.
