COMMENTAFP MI, Capital Area Chapter
History: The Capital Area Chapter of Michigan was established in 1991 and has nearly 100 fundraising professionals as members. The board of directors meets monthly to facilitate chapter business. Chapter educational programs are held monthly at varying locations around the region. Training opportunities include both breakfast and lunch sessions along with several AFP web conferences. Area and Organizations served by chapter: The Capital Area Chapter serves the mid-Michigan region including the following counties: Ingham, Eaton, Clinton, Jackson, Calhoun and Gratiot. The Chapter welcomes members and guests to participate from organizations small to large and actively works to offer programs to meet the differing needs of each.
